Onsi, a UK-based InsurTech startup founded in 2019, has announced a strategic investment from Zurich.
The investment strengthens Zurich’s commitment to enhancing its digital and human-first approach to employee benefits, according to the Coverager.
The equity investment amount has not been disclosed.
Onsi’s platform allows companies to offer a range of services to their freelance workforce, including sick pay, accident and injury insurance, wellness programmes, financial and educational resources, and access to a perks marketplace.
The company, which currently employs a team of 50, has already raised a total of $22.6m in funding to date.
The fresh capital will be used to further develop Onsi’s offerings and advance its mission of reshaping employee benefits.
The partnership with Zurich aims to create a more personalised and intuitive approach to benefits, empowering workers with the tools and resources needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving employment landscape.

Onsi’s previous funding rounds have brought its total raised to $22.6m, signalling strong investor confidence in the startup’s innovative approach to InsurTech.
