Tuskira, a new player in the cybersecurity arena, has made an impressive entrance, securing $28.5m in its initial funding round.

The investment is led by Intel Capital and SYN Ventures, with additional participation from Sorenson Capital, Rain Capital, Wipro Ventures, and other leading figures in the industry.

Tuskira is at the forefront of redefining enterprise security management. By integrating AI technology, the platform offers a security mesh that consolidates various security tools, enhancing automated security control assessments and providing deep analysis of vulnerabilities across numerous environments, including code, cloud platforms, applications, and infrastructure. This integrated approach aims to bolster defense mechanisms in real-time.

The capital injection will fuel Tuskira’s drive for innovation in product development, extend its system integrations, and refine its patented AI technologies. These enhancements are crucial for ensuring smooth customer integration and reinforcing Tuskira’s position as a pioneer in proactive threat management.

Building on a legacy of innovation, Tuskira’s founders—CEO Piyush Sharma, CISO and CPO Om Moolchandani, and CTO Vipul Parmar—bring a wealth of experience from their previous venture, Accurics. This former enterprise set new benchmarks in cloud security with its breach path prediction technology, culminating in its acquisition by Tenable. Leveraging this rich background, the trio founded Tuskira to provide a comprehensive platform that not only reacts to threats but anticipates and neutralizes them before they materialize.

In addition to the financial boost, the company has received accolades for its strategy to transform traditional reactive security measures into proactive defenses. Piyush Sharma emphasized the significance of Tuskira’s approach, stating, “At Tuskira, we are laser-focused on delivering real, measurable improvements to our customers’ defense capabilities. We aren’t just plugging security gaps; we’re predicting and preventing potential attacks. Our AI-powered platform fortifies defenses from within by optimizing the tools you already have, ensuring your organization is always one step ahead of attackers.”
