Zurich UK, a leading player in the insurance industry, has appointed Drazen Jaksic as its new chief executive officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Jaksic, who previously served as CEO of Zurich Benelux, is set to bring extensive expertise to his new position, according to InsurTech Insights.
He joined Zurich Insurance Group in 2019 and has held senior positions, including global head of accident & health within Zurich’s commercial insurance division.
His career spans over three decades, including leadership roles in accident & health at Chubb Europe. Jaksic’s extensive experience across both P&C and life insurance positions him to address diverse market needs effectively.
Tim Bailey, who currently serves as Zurich UK CEO, will transition to become CEO Life Protection at Zurich. Bailey, who has been with Zurich for several years, brings significant experience, including four years as CEO of Zurich Australia’s life & investments business and a tenure as COO EMEA & bank distribution. He will report to Cara Morton, CEO Zurich Global Ventures.
