CUBE, a global frontrunner in ARI and RCM, has completed its acquisition of the Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence and Oden businesses.
This move marks a significant expansion of CUBE’s capabilities and customer reach in the RegTech sector.
The acquisition aims to bolster CUBE’s offerings, enhancing its capacity to serve a broad spectrum of systemically important financial institutions globally. With this acquisition, CUBE’s expansive client base now includes approximately 1,000 customers spanning sectors such as banking, insurance, asset management, and payments.
CUBE specializes in providing cutting-edge Automated Regulatory Intelligence and Regulatory Change Management solutions, helping businesses navigate complex regulatory environments efficiently. Thomson Reuters is renowned for its comprehensive regulatory analysis, expert journalism, and news content. Meanwhile, Oden contributes with its specialized knowledge in regulatory matters, adding depth to CUBE’s already robust offerings.
The integration of Thomson Reuters and Oden under CUBE’s umbrella is expected to inject a new dimension of human-generated content and expert analysis into CUBE’s AI-driven solutions. This synergy is anticipated to drive innovation, accelerate growth, and create additional opportunities for CUBE and its clients in 2025 and beyond.
In addition to these acquisitions, CUBE has also been strengthening its executive team and operational capacities. The company’s impressive growth trajectory includes a significant increase in its presence in the enterprise sector, now serving about 40% of Tier 1 financial institutions globally. The mid-market sector also shows robust engagement, with nearly 800 SME customers benefiting from CUBE’s solutions.
The company’s workforce has doubled to nearly 700 employees, and CUBE has expanded its global footprint with offices in 15 countries focused on customer support and implementation.
CUBE’s Founder and CEO, Ben Richmond, expressed his enthusiasm about the recent developments: “The completion of this acquisition is a major milestone for CUBE in a year that has seen many important milestones including our strategic partnership with Hg, the acquisition of Reg-Room, and the acquisition of Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence and Oden businesses.”
He further added, “The powerful combination of CUBE’s AI and the years of human generated content curated by Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence and Oden subject matter experts sets us apart in the industry. This new dimension at CUBE will accelerate innovation and drive further growth and opportunity in 2025 and beyond.”
“We are excited to welcome all of our new colleagues to CUBE – 2025 promises to be yet another significant year for the business as we continue to deliver further innovation focused on automating regulatory compliance and risk management for our customers.”
