Two, a European leader in B2B payments technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Avarda, a northern European white label payments specialist.
The collaboration will introduce a fully integrated white label payment solution designed for both businesses and consumers in the Nordic e-commerce market.
The partnership aims to streamline payment processes for merchants by integrating B2B and B2C payment options into a single, branded checkout experience.
By combining Two’s expertise in Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions for B2B transactions with Avarda’s established B2C payment capabilities, the solution will enable businesses to expand their B2B offerings without relying on multiple payment providers. This integration is expected to improve conversion rates, reduce transaction friction, and simplify payment processes for Nordic merchants.
The Nordic e-commerce market is experiencing rapid growth, with projected revenues of $41.95bn in 2025 and an annual growth rate of 7.93% from 2025 to 2029. While B2C payments have advanced significantly, the B2B sector continues to struggle with outdated invoicing and billing systems.
Many businesses are now recognising the benefits of BNPL in improving cash flow and enhancing customer satisfaction. As demand grows for digitalised and unified payment solutions catering to both B2B and B2C transactions, Two and Avarda’s partnership seeks to address this market need.
Through this collaboration, merchants will benefit from:
- A unified B2B and B2C checkout experience under their own brand.
- Instant credit decisions and high approval rates for transactions.
- Advanced fraud prevention and risk management tailored for different transaction types.
- A frictionless payment process that boosts customer satisfaction and conversion rates.
Initially launching in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, the solution is expected to redefine the payment landscape in one of the world’s most advanced e-commerce regions.
Two CEO and co-founder Andreas Mjelde said, “At Two, we understand that merchants want a single, seamless checkout experience that supports both business and consumer transactions. Despite the Nordic region’s reputation for digital ingenuity, B2B payments have been in need of a serious innovation boost, often lagging behind their B2C counterparts in terms of the simplicity and seamlessness of transactions.
“Many merchants have already maximised their B2C growth and are now looking to scale their B2B operations without the complexity of delayed business payments, convoluted net terms processes, and managing multiple payment providers. Our partnership with Avarda delivers exactly that – an all-in-one solution tailored to modern merchants’ needs.”
Avarda’s chief commercial officer Wilhelm Hyltén-Cavallius said, “The initial response from Avarda’s merchants has been overwhelmingly positive. We have seen growing interest from merchants seeking additional capabilities within B2B payments, and this partnership provides a sophisticated yet easy-to-implement solution that addresses their challenges directly.
“This strategic move reinforces our expertise in B2C payments and enhances our B2B offerings, while enabling us to better serve merchants seeking a complete, branded payment experience.”
