Juspay, a leading provider of next-generation payment solutions for enterprises and banks, has opened a new office in Brazil.

Headquartered in Bangalore, India, the company is widely recognised for driving innovation in real-time payment infrastructure and seamless checkout experiences, according to FF News.

The expansion into Brazil represents Juspay’s first major step into Latin America, a move strategically timed with the region’s rapid adoption of digital payment methods.

With a growing demand for innovative payment systems, Juspay aims to offer cutting-edge services tailored to local needs while leveraging its proven expertise in similar markets.

Founded in India’s technology capital, Juspay has become synonymous with scalable payment technologies.

The company supports services such as one-click checkouts, payment orchestration, 3DS authentication, network tokenisation, reconciliation, fraud detection, and white-label real-time payment solutions for banks.

Juspay’s new Brazil office will introduce advanced PiX 2.0 capabilities, including PiX Biometrico, PiX Automático, and PiX by Proximity—enhancing the local PiX infrastructure with more seamless and secure real-time payment features. Additionally, it will offer its open-source payments orchestration platform, Hyperswitch, to merchants aiming to build or customise their payment systems.

The move also extends Juspay’s ability to support global enterprises, joining a network of 1200+ payment experts across India, the USA, the UK, Singapore, and Dubai. The company already processes over $670bn in annual total processed volume and serves more than 500 major global brands including Amazon, Google Pay, Zurich Insurance Group, Flipkart, and Swiggy.

Juspay COO and co-founder Sheetal Lalwani said, “We are very excited to establish our presence in Latin America, starting with Brazil. Our expansion comes at a pivotal moment in Brazil’s digital payments landscape, which is experiencing tremendous innovation and diversification. We intend to scale our team in the country to help companies manage global payments and deliver industry-first solutions like 1-click PiX (PiX Biometrico), drawing from our experience of building similar seamless payment experiences worldwide.”

Director of LATAM Expansion Shakthidhar Bhaskar added, “Brazil is at the forefront of a payments revolution, with PiX, digital wallets, and embedded finance reshaping how consumers and businesses transact. As we expand into this dynamic market, we aim to empower merchants with world-class infrastructure and enterprise-grade performance & reliability that simplifies complexity—optimizing approval rates, reducing costs, and unlocking new experiences through deeply integrated, seamless payment flows.”
