Meridian, a FinTech platform specialising in AI-driven deal management for private markets, has raised $7m in a seed funding round.
The round was led by 645 Ventures, with continued participation from Chaac Ventures and a group of angel investors described as “high-impact”.
Meridian provides AI-powered deal management and CRM software tailored to private markets investors. The platform is designed to help users source thematically, streamline their pipelines, and improve decision-making during the investment committee process.
The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand its impact across the private equity sector. With major private equity firms already migrating from legacy systems to Meridian, the funds will enable the company to scale more quickly and support wider adoption.
Meridian was founded by a team of former private equity investors and technology experts with the goal of transforming how deal teams operate. The platform is positioned as a critical tool for generating proprietary deal flow and managing investment pipelines more efficiently.
