Attara launches AI-powered hedging tools for SMEs

Commodity hedging FinTech Attara has launched its new AI-powered Explore Zone platform, designed to help businesses of all sizes navigate volatile markets.

The Explore Zone offers an intuitive entry point into hedging, providing educational content and interactive tools that help businesses understand how hedging strategies can protect profitability and reduce exposure to price fluctuations. It particularly targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have often been excluded from complex financial markets despite facing significant risk from commodity price movements.

Through Explore Zone, users can access a range of advanced tools previously limited to institutional traders. These include a hedge identifier, which maps how traded benchmarks align with a company’s own physical commodity prices; a scenario calculator, which models both historical and potential market outcomes; and document generators that produce internal reports and policy materials to support strategic discussions within businesses.

All features are powered by Tara, Attara’s integrated AI assistant, who helps users understand key hedging principles and navigate the available tools. The Explore Zone is fully integrated into Attara’s Client Portal, a centralised dashboard that gives clients oversight of their portfolios and access to expert guidance when making critical financial decisions.
