Fenergo, a leader in AI-powered CLM and financial crime compliance solutions, has appointed Hishaam Caramanli as its new president and COO.
The appointment, effective immediately, will see Caramanli report directly to CEO Marc Murphy as the company strengthens its leadership team to accelerate its global product and innovation strategy.
The Dublin-headquartered RegTech firm provides software solutions that streamline client onboarding, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management for financial institutions. Its technology combines automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to help banks and financial services firms reduce compliance costs, mitigate financial crime risks, and enhance client experiences.
In his new role, Caramanli will lead Fenergo’s product, engineering, and customer teams. His focus will centre on enhancing client-centric innovation, optimising product delivery, and accelerating value creation across the company’s operations. Caramanli brings a wealth of experience from senior positions at ION Markets, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, where he built and scaled complex technology platforms across global financial markets.
Before joining Fenergo, Caramanli served as group chief product officer at ION Markets, overseeing product strategy and delivery across a portfolio generating more than €1bn in revenue. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles as global head of UBS Neo and global head of Morgan Stanley Matrix, two of the financial sector’s most widely recognised institutional trading platforms.
