Hawk introduces analytics studio for AI-driven fraud and AML

Hawk, a specialist in AI-powered anti-money laundering, screening and fraud prevention, has launched Analytics Studio, a new solution designed to help banks and payment companies manage the full lifecycle of their AI models with greater oversight and regulatory confidence.

As artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across financial services, financial crime and compliance teams are under increasing pressure to ensure their AI models can be developed, maintained and updated efficiently. With most banks now actively promoting the use of AI, the focus has shifted towards governance, explainability and audit readiness. Hawk’s Analytics Studio aims to address these challenges by enabling institutions to align AI innovation with regulatory expectations and rapidly evolving financial crime patterns.

The new solution simplifies AI model development and retraining, giving organisations flexibility in how they build and manage models. Institutions seeking end-to-end control can access expert-designed financial crime model templates, copilot-guided model creation tools and pre-built performance dashboards. Automated documentation capabilities are also included, helping teams produce regulator-ready models more quickly and consistently.

Hawk also offers the option for financial institutions to use its data science services for both initial model development and ongoing optimisation.

Analytics Studio enables firms to embed financial crime domain intelligence directly into their AI models, improving detection performance and reducing overall risk exposure. Governance features such as model explainability, documentation and version control are integrated throughout the AI lifecycle, making models easier to approve, defend and audit in line with regulatory standards.

Hawk chief product officer Wolfgang Berner said, “Hawk customers already benefit from AI models that have been outperforming the market for years, finding double the crime with half the investigative effort. With Analytics Studio, we are now giving financial institutions the flexibility to manage the entire model lifecycle themselves—from development and validation to ongoing optimization—so they can take their AI capabilities to the next level with speed and regulatory confidence.”

The launch of Analytics Studio marks the latest enhancement to Hawk’s AI-native anti-financial crime platform. Banks and payment organisations worldwide use Hawk’s technology across AML, screening and fraud prevention, supported by AI modules designed to improve the prevention, detection, investigation and reporting of financial crime.
