fincite, which offers software to transform investment advice from onboarding to reporting, has received a ISO 27001 certification.
ISO 27001 is widely regarded as the global benchmark for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Certification confirms that an independent external auditor has assessed an organisation’s security framework and verified that it meets stringent international standards.
For fincite, the scope of certification extends across the full operational backbone of the company. Its ISMS encompasses risk management procedures, information systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, software development lifecycles, operational workflows, personnel policies and the business processes underpinning the design, deployment and maintenance of its platform.
The certification also covers the practical services delivered to clients. These include client onboarding, advisory services, portfolio management capabilities, data aggregation, reporting tools, market data integration and the associated support and administrative functions.
For banks, family offices and wealth managers relying on fincite • cios, the certification signals structured and continuous oversight of data security practices.
Fincite founder & co-CEO Friedhelm A. Schmitt underlined the importance of the milestone, saying, “For our clients, trust is non negotiable. ISO 27001 is an external validation of the security standard we operate by every day.”
The certification journey itself was completed in six months. According to fincite, the external audit concluded with zero major or minor findings.
