Trustpair, an automated vendor payment fraud prevention platform, and Coupa, a platform for autonomous spend management, have announced an expansion of their existing partnership aimed at helping enterprises defend against a rising tide of AI-driven fraud.
The two companies, which first announced their collaboration in 2024, have deepened their integration so that Trustpair is now available as a certified solution within the Coupa App Marketplace. The expanded arrangement allows organisations to automate global bank account ownership verification directly inside their procurement and finance workflows, enabling joint customers to validate vendor banking details at scale and reduce exposure to threats such as vendor impersonation, account manipulation and social engineering attacks.
The move comes against a backdrop of sharply rising fraud attempts across finance and procurement functions. According to the Trustpair 2026 Fraud Report, 71% of US companies reported a rise in AI-powered fraud attempts over the past year, with nearly half of finance leaders — 47% — identifying AI-generated fraud as among their greatest concerns. Tightening compliance obligations are also playing a role, with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements and updated Nacha rules on ACH payment security pushing organisations to adopt more robust vendor verification measures. More broadly, the shift reflects longer-term structural change in enterprise procure-to-pay operations, as companies digitise procurement, embrace AI-driven automation and centralise supplier data within enterprise platforms.
Trustpair is a platform that automates the verification of vendor banking information to prevent payment fraud. Its capabilities cover fraud intelligence and account ownership validation, supporting organisations in securing vendor onboarding and ongoing payment processes.
Through the Coupa App Marketplace, customers are able to extend their spend management platform using certified third-party solutions designed to address specific business needs while lowering the cost and complexity of integrations. With Trustpair’s verification tools embedded into Coupa workflows, procurement and finance teams can bring new vendors on board more quickly without compromising on fraud controls or compliance obligations.
Coupa SVP, product strategy Eric Washer said, “As organizations accelerate digital transformation across procurement and finance, the integrity of supplier data has become a critical control point for preventing payment fraud. 62% of CFOs now oversee their organization’s technology and security functions, according to our annual Strategic CFO Report. Trustpair’s availability through the Coupa App Marketplace provides immense value to our finance and procurement customers looking to strengthen vendor verification and reduce the risk of financial loss with AI.”
Trustpair CEO and co-founder Baptiste Collot said, “Vendor payment fraud continues to evolve rapidly as attackers use AI and social engineering to exploit manual verification processes. Embedding Trustpair’s automated validation directly into the Coupa platform allows organizations to secure vendor onboarding and payment processes while meeting growing expectations around financial controls and compliance.”
