Prometeia has built generative AI directly into the advisor interface of its Digital Wealth Management Platform, aiming to cut administrative load, speed up meeting preparation and keep Relationship Managers (RMs) inside their institution’s compliance framework rather than working around it.
The push comes as adoption across the sector accelerates sharply. Citing Gartner’s September 2025 report, Prometeia notes that as of the end of the second quarter of 2025, “71% of investment services respondents reported their firms have already deployed GenAI,” with a further 18% expecting deployment within 12 months.
Prometeia distinguishes its approach as “embedded” rather than “integrated” AI. Embedded AI sits natively inside the advisor’s existing interface, surfacing product insights, compliance guidance and portfolio data without a separate login or tool switch. Integrated AI, by contrast, connects external tools to core systems but still forces advisors to context-switch, something Prometeia argues undermines adoption at the point of use.
According to Prometeia, advisory workflows are under mounting strain: regulatory requirements have multiplied, clients expect real-time personalised insight, and institutions face pressure to do more with static or shrinking resources. Gartner classifies the “advisor knowledge base AI assistant” use case as a “Likely Win,” defined as combining “medium-to-high feasibility with medium-to-high value, making them wins in most circumstances.”
Prometeia’s platform addresses this through three embedded capabilities: instant information retrieval from a single interface, AI-assisted meeting preparation to reduce time spent gathering context, and compliance-aligned design that surfaces guidance without overriding institutional risk logic.
Prometeia reports that institutions embedding AI into front-office advisory workflows see three measurable outcomes: more time for client engagement as administrative load falls, greater advisory consistency across teams, and stronger compliance alignment through guidance delivered at the point of decision.
The platform is currently deployed across financial institutions in Switzerland, Spain, Germany and broader Europe. Prometeia designed it for three audiences: C-suite and Heads of Wealth seeking productivity gains and differentiation; Heads of Digital and CTOs evaluating AI infrastructure against governance requirements, where Gartner notes internal feasibility depends on stakeholders’ ability “to understand, trust and effectively execute the use case;” and RMs themselves, for whom Gartner says automation “can meaningfully improve the productivity of portfolio managers who often manually manage these tasks.”
Prometeia is clear the tool is not a replacement for human advisors. It handles retrieval and preparation so RMs can focus on relationship-building, advisory judgement and business development, all while operating inside the bank’s existing compliance and risk frameworks.
