Clear Street launches EMEA and APAC execution

Clear Street, a cloud-native financial infrastructure technology firm that aims to give sophisticated investors access to every asset in every market, has launched electronic execution across Europe and Asia-Pacific, marking the first time its algorithmic trading offering has extended beyond the US and Canada.

The rollout gives clients access to 27 new markets through a single connection, with positions and trades visible in the same real-time ledger that underpins Clear Street’s existing US business.

Across EMEA, the company now provides execution on primary exchanges in 22 markets, together with access to dark pools, systematic internalisers, periodic auction books and ETF liquidity through RFQ.

European emerging markets are supported from launch, while out-of-hours German venues are set to follow.

In Asia-Pacific, Clear Street has gone live in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore, with South Korea and Taiwan due to be added in the coming months.

Both regions offer nine headline trading strategies and integrate directly with major EMS and OMS technologies. Clients are also able to choose from more than 100 configurable execution parameters, with tailored configurations able to be deployed within 24 hours.

The international launch is being introduced alongside a 24-hour smart order router, which gives clients overnight access to US equities between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. ET. The router directs orders across Blue Ocean, Bruce, MOON and OTC Link N, automatically shifting to whichever venue offers the best available price. Combined, the two launches mean Clear Street’s coverage now matches the full span of hours and markets in which its clients trade.

Clear Street describes itself as a cloud-native financial infrastructure technology firm built to give sophisticated investors access to every asset in every market. The company says it is replacing outdated industry infrastructure with a single, end-to-end cloud platform that supports the whole trade lifecycle, spanning ideation, execution, clearing, custody, financing and settlement, with the aim of delivering greater speed, transparency and scale across its ecosystem.

Clear Street CEO and co-founder Uri Cohen said, “With today’s launch, our platform now spans three regions — giving investors institutional-grade execution, smart order routing and a single view of their positions wherever they trade, backed by 24-hour coverage that matches the hours our clients actually work. Launching Europe and Asia-Pacific together is a defining step in building our global platform and we’re just getting started.”
