Vodafone Business, the digital communications solutions unit of telecommunications company Vodafone, has announced the launch of Vodafone Business ESG Navigator.
This new software solution is designed to enable companies to address their sustainability reporting needs, specifically focusing on the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), in collaboration with sustainability reporting software provider Envoria, according to ESG Today.
The launch of the ESG Navigator is aimed at helping companies meet the increasing demands of sustainability reporting. The CSRD significantly expands the number of companies required to provide sustainability disclosures, necessitating more detailed reporting on environmental impacts, human rights, social standards, and sustainability-related risks.
Vodafone Business provides digital communication solutions and is committed to driving innovation in sustainability. The company’s new ESG Navigator will assist firms in complying with the updated CSRD requirements, making it easier to manage and report sustainability data.
The offering is a centralised collection point for all ESG-relevant company data. It integrates data from various locations and systems, facilitating processing and analysis. The software enables the creation of legally compliant reports using pre-defined templates, ensuring adherence to EU regulations.
In addition to CSRD compliance, the ESG Navigator also supports companies in adhering to the EU Taxonomy and calculating Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. This comprehensive tool is designed to streamline sustainability management and reporting processes.
Founded in 2018, Munich-based Envoria provides solutions that help companies meet sustainability reporting requirements, calculate CO2 emissions, implement EU Taxonomy regulations, and address supply chain laws. Envoria is part of the Vodafone UPLIFT program, which partners with innovative startups to develop market-ready solutions.
