LGT Wealth Management, has announced Phoebe Stone as its first Chief Sustainability Officer for the UK.
This appointment underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to driving sustainable investment strategies and operations.
LGT Wealth Management operates at the forefront of sustainable investing within the wealth management sector. With a strategic focus on both private and public market investments, the company leverages its private ownership and long-term vision to set ambitious environmental goals, including achieving net zero in its investments and operations by 2030.
Phoebe Stone has been an integral part of LGT Wealth Management since joining as a Portfolio Manager in 2014, becoming a Partner in 2020. Her new role as Chief Sustainability Officer (UK) will see her continue to evolve the firm’s sustainable investing capabilities, which she has led since launching the dedicated division in 2018.
Jordan Kelly, another key player in the firm’s sustainability efforts, has been promoted to oversee sustainable fund, equity, and bond research. Having been a part of the sustainable team for five years, Kelly’s deep involvement in the research process and asset selection strategies has been crucial to the development of the firm’s sustainable investment initiatives.
In their respective roles, both Stone and Kelly will work towards enhancing the accountability of business practices and the sustainability of investment activities. Their efforts aim to reinforce the financial sector’s role in environmental conservation and sustainability.
