Zeidler Group expands MMR-Tool to cover Taiwan

Technology-driven law firm and RegTech provider Zeidler Group has added Taiwan to its Marketing Material Review Tool (MMR-Tool), expanding the platform’s global regulatory coverage and helping investment managers navigate increasingly complex cross-border marketing rules.

The enhancement brings several of Taiwan’s core regulatory frameworks into the MMR-Tool, including the Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Act (SITCA), the SITCA Guidelines for Advertisements and Business Activities, and the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds. The integration gives clients a more efficient route to reviewing marketing materials against Taiwan’s detailed and frequently evolving compliance requirements.

Taiwan has grown into a strategically significant jurisdiction for international fund distribution, carrying specific and nuanced rules around financial promotions. For Zeidler Group, the addition reflects its ongoing drive to strip back regulatory complexity through technology-led solutions.

Through the Taiwan integration, users can now benchmark marketing materials against requirements covering fair presentation, disclosure obligations, and restrictions on promotional content. These span both the SITCA Guidelines for Advertisements and Business Activities and the wider legal architecture set out under SITCA and the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds.
