London-based InsurTech startup InMyBag has landed £300,000 in a pre-Seed round from angel investors including onefinestay founder Demetrios Zoppos.

South African life insurance startup AllLife has secured an undisclosed investment led by Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund it its first foray into the InsurTech space.

German InsurTech startup Getsurance has picked up ?2m in a Seed round of funding. The investment comes from Rocket Internet founder Alexander Samwer Picus Capital, Postfinance Bank and IBB.

InurTech startup Lemonade has secured funding from global insurance giant Allianz. The terms of the deal are undisclosed.

Health insurance startup Better has raised $1.1m in a seed funding round. Initialized Capital led the investment with Designer Fund and angel investors also participating.

Asian telecom giant Axiata group is pumping $16.8m into microinsurance startup BIMA. The Swedish InsurTech startup already works alongside the firm in several markets.

Belgian InsurTech startup Qover has picked up ?5.5m in a Series A round led by Anthemis Group. The round also saw participation from existing backers Belcube and Callat?y & Wouters Ventures.
