Sandy Leggeat – Former Goldman Sachs

Sandy Leggeat is a seasoned Senior Technology Director with extensive leadership experience in streamlining business workflows and designing cutting-edge technology solutions across regulatory areas such as Compliance, Risk and Finance.

With a track record in managing multiple global engineering teams through transformation, Sandy led the global engineering team for Regulatory Financial Reporting at Goldman Sachs. He was responsible for all aspects of software development, support and vendor management for external finance reporting at the firm, from regulatory statistical and stress test reporting to financial statements. Most recently, Sandy led the design and development of a next-generation reporting platform, including the rollout of cloud vendor solutions.

With more than 20 years experience in financial services, Sandy held global leadership roles in Balance Sheet Engineering, Market Risk Technology and Securities Compliance Technology at Goldman Sachs. He has also served on The Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority’s Reporting Transformation Committee for the past two years, redefining the future of data collection and reporting to ensure the regulators get the data they need at the lowest possible cost to industry.

Sandy holds a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh.
