Johnny Mattimore – First Derivative

Johnny Mattimore is Global Head of Risk and Sustainable Finance at First Derivative, the largest consultancy firm in capital markets. He leads a global team supporting clients across the full spectrum of financial and non-financial risk management.

With a wealth of expertise and experience in risk management and sustainability, Johnny has led global platform redesigns and corporate governance and implementation frameworks for a number of leading financial organisations across a career of over 30 years in banking and asset management, including Citi, Bear Stearns, ING, Gartmore, Old Mutual, RAB Capital and a variety of private businesses. He originally trained as a mathematician and markets economist. He enjoys kayaking, hiking and tennis.
