Document creation company Templafy collects $25m in its Series C round
Document creation and automation platform Templafy has collected $25m in its Series C round which was led by private equity firm Insight Partners.
Dawn Capital, Seed Capital and Damgaard Company also contributed to the company’s funding round.
Capital from the round will be used to support the international growth of the FinTech, as well as its merger and acquisition efforts. As part of its international growth, the company recently opened an office in New York.
Founded in Denmark, Templafy enables companies to streamline their documents, presentations and emails. Its technology is used across the financial services, insurance, legal and consultancy industries.
Its technology helps to create document and ensure they all meet various compliance requirements.
Over the past year, the FinTech has more than doubled its revenue and has sold over two million licenses around the world.
Templafy CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen said, “Now more than ever, we see the need of global enterprises to support their distributed workforce with solutions that ensure productivity and compliance when documents are created.
“We set out to establish a new market category and create a high return on investment for companies streamlining their document creation workflow through our platform.”
Following the close of the round, the company has raised a total of $70m in equity. The company’s Series B closed on $17.2m in its Series B round back in 2018, with investments coming from Insight Partners, Dawn Capital, SEED Capital and a number of private investors.
