Alan Ainsworth – Jersey Financial Services Commission

Alan has over 30 years’ experience in banking, payments and FinTech, until recently leading strategy and policy at the UK’s Open Banking Implementation Entity, working closely with policymakers, regulators, banks and FinTechs to develop an open banking ecosystem that delivers for consumers and small businesses. Prior to this, Alan spent over 20 years at Barclays, leading Government Relations and Public Policy for its retail and Barclaycard businesses. Alan has also been a member of the Bank of England’s CBDC Technology Forum, and the UK’s Smart Data Council.
