Chris Woolard CBE – EY

Chris is a Partner at EY where he advises global financial services clients, fintech companies, governments and central banks. His areas of focus include financial regulation, strategy and fintech. He is Chair of the UK RegTech Strategy Group, a collaboration between EY, Innovate Finance and the City of London Corporation. Prior to EY, Chris was a Board Member and interim CEO of the FCA, Member of the Financial Policy Committee at the Bank of England, Member of the IOSCO Board and founding Chair of its Fintech Network. He Chaired the UK Review of Innovation in Unsecured Credit Market (Woolard Review) and founded the FCA’s fintech Sandbox which has been emulated in over 40 countries.
