Janet Chenery – RegTechNZ

Janet Chenery is an experienced financial services professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance, technology delivery, and business change across the UK, Singapore, and New Zealand. She is the Co-Founder and lead of RegTech NZ simplifying compliance through innovation and advocating for kiwi vendors. Working closely with regulators and technology partners RegTechNZ recently contributed to the establishment of the Financial Markets Authority’s (FMA) first regulatory sandbox. Janet played a key role in establishing the national Confirmation of Payee anti-scam initiative in collaboration with New Zealand banks. Now based in the UK, she brings a global perspective on RegTech, innovation, and collaborative regulatory change.
