Kalliopi Letsiou – University of Cambridge

Kalliopi Letsiou is a researcher at the University of Cambridge SupTech Lab, part of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, where she specialises in AI governance and supervisory technology (SupTech) innovations for financial supervision. With a PhD near completion at the intersection of AML/CTF regulations and artificial intelligence, her work focuses on advancing supervisory technologies to improve AML/CTF compliance frameworks while addressing data quality challenges. Kalliopi has experience in developing responsible AI strategies and AML/CTF compliance frameworks tailored to financial services. Kelly is also a lawyer and has held various roles in financial crime compliance and AI governance in the past.
