Vikram has over two decades of business and transformation leadership experience across asset management, asset servicing and transaction banking in global and emerging markets. Most recently, Vikram was the global Chief Transformation & Administration Officer for HSBC’s asset management business with leadership responsibility for the global portfolio of business, infrastructure, digital and regulatory change initiatives, while also leading the Global Operations and Administration functions. Previously, Vikram has held various leadership roles including head of global business strategy for HSBC’s asset management business, CEO – HSBC Asset Management India, Head – HSBC Securities Services India and Chairman of HSBC ETFs plc which oversees HSBC’s global ETF fund range domiciled in Ireland.

Vikram’s key areas of expertise include Asset Management, Asset Servicing, Transformation, Business Strategy, Operating Model review/design, Digital, Risk and StrategicCosts Management. Vikram is energised by the transformative role of technology and data. He is a Board Advisor to a Wealth-tech startup and has previously been an Advisor to a derivatives platform Fintech and strategic consultant to a large single family office. Vikram is currently an independent Governor on the Board of the University of Northampton.

Vikram has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and has an Electrical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
