Turkey-based Manibux has raised an undisclosed seed funding round from four angel investors.
The company valuation at the time of the funding was $2m.
Backers to the round were Turkish singer Mustafa Sandal, Wanda Digital founder Burak Gunsev, owner of several financial businesses Baris Conger and global FinTech angel investor Ayberk Kuday.
Manibux is a pocket money management platform, with a prepaid card giving children a safe and easy way to control their allowance. Parents download the app and then link their credit card to the app, so they can top-up the Manibux card whenever they wish.
The card can be used anywhere that accepts Mastercard, offers discounts at certain retailers, and allows parents to set up an automatic top-up.
