Poland-based Insurance comparison platform Mfind.pl has reportedly netted an undisclosed funding round.
Following the investment, Martis Consulting will become a new shareholder within the company, according to a report by FinSMEs. Alongside this Martis vice president Ewa Bałdyga will join the company’s supervisory board.
The company is an insurance comparison website, which uses tools to optimise a consumer’s budget. Through the platform users are able to search for vehicle, health, travel and property insurance policies and has helped around 122,000 customers save a total of nearly $20m.
With the new wave of funding, Mfind.pi plans to add to its communication and marketing teams, it said.
Mfind is currently in the portfolio of MCI Capital, which made an undisclosed investment into the company in 2015.
This week has seen a surge of InsurTech deals completed, with this being the six deal this week. Earlier this week Munich Re/HSB Ventures closed its latest investment in the sector with a commitment to Slice Labs.
