Having already partnered up in the UK in 2016, Klarna and ASOS are now expanding their team-up across the pond.

Swedish Klarna, the payments solutions provider, and ASOS, the fashion retailer, are aiming to improve the customer experience of ASOS’ US customers. The new deal will mean the retailer’s American customers can now buy the latest threads in four equally big instalments over the course of eight weeks, instead of paying everything at once.

“Extending the ASOS partnership into the US speaks to Klarna’s global reputation among both its brand partners and customers,” said Michael Rouse, chief commercial officer of Klarna. “ASOS offers an accessible shopping experience. Paired with Klarna’s smoooth user experience and capabilities, customers in both the US and UK are now able to experiment and express themselves in the latest fashions with confidence.”

Founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Klarna has since grown to work together with 130,000 merchants. This includes working with Nike, H&M, IKEA and Adidas.
