QBE Insurance Australia teams up with SafetyCulture to create a new InsurTech platform

QBE Insurance Australia has joined forces with workplace safety technology platform SafetyCulture to build a new digital insurance platform Mitti.

The joint venture is a technology-first company that aims to improve the insurance model for small to medium-businesses. It has a major focus on risk mitigation to reduce the likelihood of claims.

To reduce risks within businesses SafetyCulture will leverage its risk mitigation technology to identify and alleviate dangers within a business and promote safe working environments.

SafetyCulture offers a variety of inspection templates that can help a company assess where theirs risks lie. iAuditor, which is included in Mitti’s services, is a free inspection app that provides visibility and insights about safety.
