Electronic IDentification unveils digital solution to simplify onboarding process

Spanish identity software specialist Electronic IDentification (eID) has launched a new solution aimed at building any digital onboarding process within hours.

Established in 2013, Spain-based eID has brought to market the solution of asynchronous video identification based on video-in streaming with end-to-end coverage of the identification process.

The company has introduced HelloID, a solution aimed mostly at the governmental and financial sectors.

According to eID, HelloID is a ‘game changer’ for the eTrust industry and enables financial sector businesses and governments to reduce their time to market from months to a matter of hours.

The solution also boosts firms’ conversion and lowers their acquisitions costs in full compliance with eIDAS regulation across the EU. Furthermore, eID highlighted that the solution offers a ‘complete catalogue of trust services’ such as identification, authentication and electronic signatures with an end-to-end process that reduces friction.

The company added that HelloID leverages eID’s expertise in regulation, technology and user experience to offer a flexible, easy-to-use and easy-to-integrate solution.

Electronic IDentification CEO and founder Iván Nabalón said, “The development of this type of project usually takes between six and eight months. Because of the momentum we are in, we are seeing more and more companies needing digital solutions that allow them to expand both nationally and across Europe.

“HelloID sets an unparalleled precedent as it can be consumed much faster and allows any company, whether it is a multinational or a startup, to quickly integrate any onboarding process.”

eID was recently purchased by Norwegian digital identity firm Signicat for an undisclosed fee. Signicat stated that the coming together of the two businesses creates a company with ‘unrivalled strength’ in identity proofing, electronic signature solutions and authentication.
