Automated regulatory intelligence RegTech CUBE raises capital

Automated regulatory intelligence (ARI) platform CUBE has received an investment from strategic growth investment firm Bregal Milestone.

This is the first institutional capital investment raised by CUBE.

This capital will help CUBE deepen product capabilities for customers, increase international expansion efforts and accelerate overall growth both organically and through acquisition.

CUBE’s ARI platform claims to transform complex regulatory change management and compliance processes. Compliance teams can reduce costs and move skilled individuals up the value chain whilst also reducing risk.

The automated regulatory intelligence platform leverages AI to automatically enrich and map changing or emerging regulations. These are applied to customers’ policies, procedures, and controls.

As a result, teams are alerted to regulations that matter to them instantly. With this, they can focus on preventing non-compliance.

CUBE founder and CEO Ben Richmond said, “Raising this level of investment in the current market from such a high quality growth capital investor is a significant validation of both our market position and vision.

“Given the current macro environment, customers across financial services and beyond will want to partner with providers that have a strong track record and a clear vision with the ability to execute – now is the right time for us to bring in a strategic partner.”

In other RegTech news, risk screening and monitoring platform Sigma Ratings recently secured its Series A investment. The capital was supplied by Mosaik Partners, FinTech Collective, Contour Ventures and AngelList Ventures.

Sigma Ratings connects publicly-sourced data and risk intelligence into a platform that allows companies to evaluate, onboard, retain and expand relationships.
