Security software provider Arnica lands $7m

Arnica

Arnica, a behaviour-based supply chain security software firm, has scored $7m in a seed funding round.

The round was headed by Joule Ventures and First Rays Venture Partners, with participation from Baruch Sadogursky, Dror Davidoff and Avi Shua.

Arnica claims it helps security & DevSecOps teams make software supply chain security and CI/CD security effective and easy.

Arnica’s behaviour-based permissions management solution ensures that developers’ access is continuously evaluated and updated to least privilege without disrupting their workflow.

Developers can easily recover or request permissions through collaboration tools they are already using, like Slack or Teams. The platform also evaluates developer behaviour and code to detect and prevent impersonators from pushing malicious code or accessing secrets.

Arnica intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and scale its go-to-market teams.

BluSapphire Cyber Systems, a unified advanced cyber defence platform, recently reportedly raised $9.2m for its Series A funding round.

Barings Private Equity India led the investment, with commitments also coming from Dallas Venture Capital, RPG Ventures and Merisis Venture Partners, according to a report from Your Story.

With the funds, the CyberTech company plans to grow its presence across North America and India.

The CyberTech company claims to go beyond Extended detection and response and stylises itself as the only cybersecurity platform a company needs.
