TSB and Superscript join forces to enhance small business insurance offerings

TSB, a renowned high-street bank, and Superscript, an emerging InsurTech scale-up, have formed a strategic partnership to cater to small business banking customers with advanced, flexible business insurance.

TSB’s collaboration with Superscript aims to solidify its digital business banking proposition. The exclusive offer from Superscript to TSB’s clientele encompasses complimentary commercial legal protection insurance for a lifetime.

TSB, a major player in the high-street banking sector, is continually evolving its digital offerings for small businesses. As part of their initiative, TSB is diversifying its digital marketplace by integrating service providers that offer optimal solutions to the underserved SME sector.

Superscript, on the other hand, is an InsurTech innovator that provides business banking clients with swift access to tailor-made business coverage options. Their user-friendly platform allows clients to customize their coverage in under 5 minutes, a testament to their commitment to efficiency and customer-centricity.

Existing and prospective TSB customers will benefit from the complimentary commercial legal protection insurance with any selected Superscript coverage for a lifetime. This perk grants users immediate access to a round-the-clock legal and tax consultation service, allowing them to manage legal matters as adeptly as an enterprise with a dedicated legal division.

Further accentuating TSB’s commitment to digital transformation for SMEs, the bank is enhancing its digital marketplace by incorporating Superscript alongside six other premium service providers. This alliance ensures TSB clients have the flexibility to modify their policies as per their requirements without incurring additional charges.

TSB’s digital marketplace features other notable service providers, including Enterprise Nation, Be the Business, Funding Circle, Square, and Adobe.

Superscript Partnerships Director Henry Newby said, “The partnership with TSB is a huge milestone for us as TSB is a major leading high street bank with a modern ethos and a strong focus on building out their digital proposition. Together with TSB we are providing more value for their business banking customers through this new business-critical product, which will be accessed through an integrated and hassle-free business insurance journey.

“We’re already thinking about the future with TSB, this being the first step of a collaborative relationship where we can further develop a tech and data-driven embedded insurance offering that TSB customers won’t be able to find elsewhere.”

TSB Business Banking Director Adeel Hyder said, “We are delighted to have Superscript on board to further enhance our commitment to developing a richer digital business banking experience for our small business customers. Small businesses make up the vast majority of our business banking customers, and Superscript’s small business proposition is perfectly suited to serve them.”
