It has expanded its reach across Austria, the Netherlands, and the UK, while also serving buyers in Belgium and France. On the other hand, Mangopay, founded in 2013, specializes in supporting various business models in the platform economy with its comprehensive payment infrastructure.
The reason behind this partnership stems from the desire to bolster the B2B marketplace industry, which has seen substantial growth since 2015. By integrating Mondu’s flexible payment options with Mangopay’s robust payment infrastructure, the collaboration aims to enhance the payment experience for businesses in this sector. This synergy will provide European marketplaces with a tailored, modular payments infrastructure, incorporating popular B2B payment methods and versatile payment terms.
The partnership is set to empower B2B marketplaces with robust tools and a range of payment methods, enhancing their ability to manage payment flows. This includes introducing BNPL services to B2B customers, a move poised to significantly impact sales volumes, conversion rates, and order values, thereby driving business growth.
