Scanbot SDK and Cypher Robotics have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing warehousing and inventory processes across various industries.

This collaboration is set to leverage Scanbot SDK’s cutting-edge technologies, integrated into Cypher Robotics’ autonomous robotic systems, to optimise inventory cycle counting processes.

By eliminating manual tasks and reducing errors, the partnership aims to help businesses improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The companies already have history working together, as the Canada-based firm already utilises Scanbot SDK’s Linux Barcode Scanner SDK in its automated inventory cycle counting systems, this solution reduces operational costs, eradicates human errors, and delivers real-time inventory data, facilitating improved demand planning.

The software ensures continuous operation even without a permanent connection to a cloud or remote system.

Data collected by the scanner is stored locally and seamlessly transmitted to the warehouse database upon reconnection to the docking station. Cypher Robotics estimates that this innovative approach can significantly decrease inventory counting time by up to 90%.

Recently, it was revealed that Scanbot SDK is set to launch a Web Document Scanner Demo of its Barcode Scanner SDK, following the successful rollout of a browser-based demo last year.

This latest offering allows users to test the Document Scanner SDK in any modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

With the Scanbot Web Document Scanner SDK, users can effortlessly create high-quality images of physical documents and convert them into digital input for backend systems. What’s more, no native iOS or Android app is necessary as the SDK seamlessly integrates into any website or web app.
