eToro has unveiled a major push into artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to transform how retail investors engage with markets through social trading.
The platform is rolling out AI-powered tools, a public API, and its new AI companion, Tori, as part of a strategy to give its community advanced capabilities once reserved for quantitative hedge funds.
Co-founder and CEO Yoni Assia said, “There’s been a lot of talk about how AI will reshape investing. It’s not just speculation—it’s already happening. At eToro, we’re not waiting for the future to arrive. We’re building it.
“Market data in the palm of your hand and AI-agents that enlighten you with the most relevant and accurate insights tailored to your portfolio and needs. The ability to build tools that help you outperform the markets and invite others to use them.”
At the heart of this move is a suite of AI-driven tools and APIs that will underpin an open-garden marketplace where users can build, publish, and share custom trading tools. The first phase will be rolled out to eToro’s Popular Investors—vetted top traders whose strategies can be copied by others via the platform’s CopyTrader technology.

These tools will allow traders to design bespoke algorithms, automate strategies, integrate real-time market data, and run advanced analytics for stocks, digital assets, and ETFs. They will also support portfolio optimisation, risk analysis through Value-at-Risk (VaR) modelling, and stress testing. Custom dashboards, enhanced trade execution, and the ability to post to eToro’s social feed are also part of the offering.
The company is also introducing Tori, its AI companion designed to guide users across the platform. Tori can answer questions, provide personalised insights, and support investors in understanding market trends through natural conversation.
