MIS and Eagleview deliver faster insights for insurers

McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS), a leader in geospatial intelligence, and Eagleview, a pioneer in geospatial technology, have announced a collaboration to improve the insurance industry’s response to North American catastrophes.

The partnership combines MIS’ military-grade intelligence analysis with Eagleview’s high-resolution aerial imagery, enabling clients of both organisations to gain faster, more accurate post-event insights, according to FF News.

MIS clients will access Eagleview’s library of pre- and post-event imagery within the GEO platform, covering perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and wildfires. This allows MIS to deliver post-event assessments more quickly and with greater depth.

Eagleview clients will gain access to the GEO platform’s historical archive of over 200 global events, securely host portfolio data, and enrich imagery with verified exposure, claims, and building-level analysis from MIS. These outputs will help insurers make decisions on claims within days.

MIS provides geospatial intelligence to support rapid decision-making during catastrophic events. Eagleview captures large-scale aerial imagery before and after disasters, assisting insurers and other industries with actionable insights.

Eagleview imagery is now fully available to GEO users, while Eagleview clients can access the platform at any time. The collaboration strengthens both organisations’ ability to deliver critical intelligence during catastrophic events in North America.

In the last year, MIS produced intelligence reports on 25 CAT events and monitored 42 more, including Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton, the May 2025 tornado outbreak, and Los Angeles wildfires. Eagleview captured 34,000 km² across 60 flights covering 26 unique CAT events.

Forbes McKenzie, CEO and Founder of MIS, said, “We could not be more delighted to be collaborating with Eagleview. This transformative partnership further establishes GEO as the go-to disaster response platform for carriers and matches the best intelligence on the market with the best aerial imagery on the market.

“Ultimately, this provides the insurance community with a one-stop shop to understand how their business has been affected and inform their decision-making in the immediate aftermath of any catastrophic event in North America.”

David Bairstow, SVP and General Manager of Eagleview, said, “We’re truly thrilled to be working with MIS. Bringing these leading market offerings together will deliver major benefits for our users.

“This move signals a major evolution in how both organisations serve the insurance marketplace, with the shared goal of continuing to give carriers the information they need, when they need most it, as the impact North American catastrophes worsen year-on-year.”
