Stripe has launched a new product designed to help merchants adapt to the rapidly evolving world of AI-enabled commerce.
The launch comes as AI agents increasingly influence how consumers discover, compare and purchase products online, creating new opportunities but also new complexity for businesses trying to sell across multiple channels and emerging agent-driven environments.
Founded to simplify online payments and financial operations, Stripe supports millions of businesses worldwide with tools for payments processing, billing, fraud prevention, financial reporting and embedded finance. The company works with enterprises, platforms and fast-growing digital businesses, providing the underlying infrastructure that enables commerce on the internet.
The newly introduced Agentic Commerce Suite is designed to help businesses sell seamlessly through multiple AI agents without needing to manage fragmented integrations. The solution follows Stripe’s recent launch of the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), an open standard intended to create a shared technical language between AI agents and businesses.
While ACP establishes a foundation for agentic commerce, Stripe said real-world adoption has been slowed by differing integration requirements and onboarding processes across AI agents. Agentic Commerce Suite addresses this challenge by offering a low-code solution that allows businesses to connect to multiple AI agents through a single integration.
In addition, the suite manages Shared Payment Tokens, enabling AI agents to securely pass a buyer’s payment credentials to businesses so payments can be processed safely and efficiently. This capability is intended to reduce friction at checkout and support secure transactions across agent-driven shopping journeys.
A range of well-known brands and platforms are expected to use the new solution, including Coach, Kate Spade, URBN brands such as Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters, as well as Revolve, Ashley Furniture, Halara, ABT Electronics and Nectar. Ecommerce platforms including Squarespace, Wix, Etsy, WooCommerce, commercetools and BigCommerce are also set to adopt the Agentic Commerce Suite.
Wix co-heads of payments Amit Sagiv and Volodymyr Tsukur said, “AI is redefining how people discover and shop online, and at Wix we’re focused on giving our users the most powerful tools to stay ahead. By integrating Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Suite, we’re providing merchants a simple, seamless way to tap into agentic commerce as it emerges, unlocking new opportunities to reach customers, drive conversion, and fuel sustainable growth.”
Etsy chief product and technology officer Rafe Colburn said, “At Etsy, our responsibility is to ensure that our sellers’ work can be discovered wherever buyers choose to shop. Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Suite offers an integration solution that makes this easier than ever, enabling us to surface sellers’ unique items to buyers across platforms.”
Squarespace senior vice president of commercial Dan Chandre said, “Agentic shopping is transforming how people discover and buy products. With Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Suite, Squarespace merchants will be able to effortlessly bring their products into AI agents, unlocking a new way to grow their businesses.”
Stripe said the launch reflects its broader strategy of building the economic infrastructure for AI, with the Agentic Commerce Suite forming part of a series of recent product announcements focused on helping businesses thrive in an AI-enabled commerce era.
