AMLYZE and Vinted Pay, the payments subsidiary of European second-hand marketplace Vinted, have entered into a partnership to support the secure expansion of Vinted Pay across multiple markets.
The partnership has been formed to ensure that as Vinted Pay is rolled out gradually across Vinted’s markets, its onboarding and payment processes remain compliant with evolving AML/CFT requirements, while maintaining a secure and trusted user experience.
AMLYZE provides compliance technology designed to help financial institutions and payment firms detect and prevent financial crime. Its platform offers real-time and retrospective transaction monitoring alongside customer risk assessment tools, enabling organisations to meet regulatory obligations while scaling their operations.
Vinted, headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, operates the leading second-hand fashion marketplace in Europe and has expanded beyond clothing into a wide range of second-hand items. Its mission is to make second-hand the first choice worldwide, with Vinted Pay acting as a core component of its payment infrastructure as the platform continues to grow.
By integrating AMLYZE’s technology, Vinted Pay gains access to transaction monitoring and customer risk assessment capabilities that support compliant onboarding and payment flows. This approach is intended to help Vinted Pay introduce its payment services step by step, without compromising regulatory standards or user trust.
The collaboration also draws on AMLYZE’s regulatory expertise. The company’s team includes professionals with experience at the European Central Bank, the European Banking Authority, the Financial Intelligence Unit, the Bank of Lithuania and major financial institutions. This background supports the delivery of compliance solutions tailored specifically to Vinted Pay’s operational and regulatory needs as it expands.
