Michael Allain joins Red Oak as chief revenue officer

Red Oak, a compliance connectivity platform for financial services, has appointed Michael Allain as chief revenue officer, as it looks to scale revenue growth and strengthen operational execution.

The company positions itself as a modern compliance connectivity platform designed to connect key stages of the communications lifecycle across financial services, spanning content creation, review, distribution and supervision, as regulated firms face rising expectations around monitoring and governance.

In his new role, Mr Allain will work across Red Oak’s sales, operations and leadership teams, with a remit focused on building scalable revenue growth while maintaining operational excellence as the business expands.

Red Oak said Mr Allain brings more than 30 years of B2B sales experience and more than two decades in financial services, pointing to a track record of building revenue engines in highly regulated, high-trust markets.

Most recently, Mr Allain was executive vice president of sales at Billd and previously served as vice president of sales at Rho. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 15 years at American Express, where he led large regional sales organisations, according to the company.

Red Oak added that Mr Allain is recognised for sales and operational leadership, as well as for building and leading high-performance teams, with a focus on fostering “high-trust, high-accountability cultures” to support the firm’s next phase of growth.

Red Oak chief revenue officer Michael Allain said, “I’m thrilled to be joining the Red Oak team at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. I look forward to driving meaningful impact for our financial services clients, while supporting our results-driven revenue organization,”

Red Oak CEO Dave Dutch said, “We are excited to welcome Michael to the team,” and added, “As we continue to grow, his leadership and industry expertise will be instrumental in accelerating the value we deliver to Red Oak clients.”

This appointment builds on other additions from last year. In late 2025, Red Oak announced the appointment of Kirsten Newbold-Knipp as COO.
