Alliant Transportation unveils commercial fleet risk network

Alliant Insurance Sevices has unveiled ASCEND (Alliant Safety Coalition for Education, Networking and Development), a new safety-focused initiative created by its Alliant Transportation division to help commercial transport leaders reduce risk and lower their total cost of risk.

The coalition will bring together safety, operations and claims professionals from across the commercial transportation sector to address some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. Initial gatherings will focus on issues including cargo theft and fraud, litigation and nuclear verdicts, as well as maintenance scrutiny and operational exposure. Participants will work jointly on risk-reduction strategies, standard operating procedures, policies and incident review practices aimed at improving both safety and regulatory compliance.

ASCEND has been designed to facilitate open dialogue and knowledge exchange, giving transport leaders access to practical tools and insights to help them operate more confidently within an increasingly complex risk environment.

Alliant Insurance Services is a nationally recognised specialty broker, operating through a network of specialist platforms and local offices across the United States. The firm offers clients a wide portfolio of risk management solutions underpinned by a majority employee-owned structure, which it says enables greater autonomy and career development for its brokers and specialists.

Alliant Transportation executive vice president Lisa Paul said, “ASCEND represents a significant step forward in how transportation leaders approach safety and risk, putting collaboration at the forefront of innovation.

“This dedicated network of trusted industry professionals provides an invaluable forum for sharing proven risk management strategies for immediate implementation and impact and long-term sustainability.”
