Eventus

Eventus, a provider of trade surveillance and financial risk solutions, has appointed Eric Litz as chief technology officer and Sarah-Jane McColl as chief customer officer, expanding its senior leadership team.

Both appointments are designed to strengthen the firm’s client experience capabilities and keep pace with technological developments in compliance. The two executives will report directly to Eventus CEO Cameron Routh.

Litz brings over 15 years of experience in technology strategy, SaaS scaling and operational improvement within financial services. McColl joins with more than two decades of FinTech leadership and operations experience, having previously served as a consultant to Eventus since 2025, where she worked alongside the chief operating officer on the phased rollout of the company’s latest platform, which incorporates AI-enabled compliance surveillance through Frank AI.

Litz’s most recent position was as president of Copperhead Technology Group, a consultancy he founded in 2025 focused on data-driven IT modernisation and SaaS strategy, providing fractional CTO services to financial institutions and regulated industries. Between 2022 and 2025, he held the role of CTO at Klarivis, a SaaS analytics platform serving more than 130 community banks and credit unions. Earlier in his career, he served as CTO of Delta Data from 2013 to 2022, overseeing the development of six products for Fortune 500 clients and managing the processing of over $2 trillion in assets nightly. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville State University in Alabama and a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science from Columbus State University in Georgia.

Before joining Eventus, McColl spent seven years at Beacon Platform, now part of Clearwater Analytics, taking on roles of growing seniority before joining the executive leadership team in 2021 as senior vice president of operations and later of solutions and delivery. She previously spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs across London and New York, where she partnered with business leaders on strategic platform and trading technology initiatives and ultimately led global development teams within Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Alternatives division. McColl was recognised with the Excellence in FinTech Award in 2021 from Markets Media’s U.S. Women in Finance Awards. She holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Applied Biochemical Sciences from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland and a Master of Science with distinction in Computer Science and Applications from Queen’s University in Belfast.

Eventus provides trade surveillance and financial risk solutions at scale, supporting clients’ compliance requirements through its technology platforms, including its newest AI-driven offering, Frank AI.

Eventus CEO Cameron Routh said, “Eric and SJ bring proven expertise in their respective domains. The addition of these talented individuals to our leadership team reflects the continued focus on the client experience at Eventus as a driving principle for all we do. Eric has a strong track record of innovation, consistently delivered on schedule. SJ’s demonstrated commitment to project excellence and strong leadership skills were the driver in having her lead customer success and support.”
