Compliance teams drowning in one-by-one administrative clicks have been handed a reprieve, as KYCP rolls out a bulk notification management capability in version 2.1.6 of its platform, a move the RegTech firm says will free up analysts to focus on genuine risk rather than repetitive housekeeping.
According to KYCP, the notifications engine at the heart of its platform operates as an automated task management system, flagging critical events to teams in real time. These alerts span document expiries, screening hits and risk score changes, the kinds of triggers that, if missed, can leave a firm exposed to regulatory scrutiny or undetected financial crime risk.
The engine centralises every item that requires human attention in one place, allowing users to assign, lock and track actions through to completion. KYCP argues this gives compliance functions immediate awareness of their risk exposure and strengthens operational control, offering a clear overview of pending tasks across the entire client lifecycle.
Until now, notifications had to be marked as completed individually, even when multiple alerts related to the same underlying task or activity. Version 2.1.6 changes that with the introduction of the Bulk Complete action. Users can now select multiple notifications and mark them as completed in a single step.
Crucially, KYCP has built in a mandatory comment requirement, ensuring that even bulk actions preserve a clear audit trail.
