MCO (MyComplianceOffice), a compliance management software specialist serving the financial services sector, has secured more than $100m in strategic growth financing from Accel-KKR Credit Partners.
The funding comes from Accel-KKR Credit Partners, a private credit vehicle run by Accel-KKR, the Silicon Valley-based investment firm focused on software businesses worldwide. MCO plans to put the money towards its long-term growth ambitions. That includes speeding up product development, deepening its work on AI, and pushing into new markets.
The deal arrives as financial institutions face growing regulatory pressure. They must oversee staff conduct, communications, transactions and relationships with third parties. MCO has been adding capabilities over the last 12 months to help clients cope. It launched personal trading functionality covering digital assets and prediction markets. It has also strengthened its AI tools with features such as summaries of trade alerts, communications monitoring based on intent, and policy support.
MCO and Accel-KKR first worked together in 2020, and the latest commitment extends that long-running relationship.
MCO provides integrated software that helps financial services firms around the world run their compliance functions efficiently and ethically. Its MyComplianceOffice platform gives compliance teams one system for showing that they are actively managing their obligations. This covers employee activity, financial transactions and third-party dealings. More than 1,500 organisations in over 125 countries rely on the platform to replace manual workflows and fragmented tools, which cuts both cost and risk.
MCO founder and CEO Brian Fahey said, “We will use this investment to radically transform our industry and how our client firms leverage technology to deliver their compliance programs more effectively. By unifying processes, data, and evidence on a single platform—and deploying AI where it drives the most impact—MCO is fundamentally changing how compliance is managed. Our vision for our suite of solutions has never been so achievable. We are expanding our technology team, investing even more deeply in product development and AI-powered solutions, innovating faster, and continuing to deliver the integrated compliance platform that financial services needs.”
Accel-KKR managing director Samantha Shows said, “MCO is at the cutting edge of financial services compliance technology, combining a proven track record with a bold vision for transforming how compliance is managed. Its highly differentiated platform delivers clear value to clients, and this partnership demonstrates our continued confidence in MCO’s leadership, technology, and ability to define the next generation of compliance.”
