Acuvity launches with $9m to bolster AI security for enterprises

Acuvity, a pioneer in AI security and governance, announced today that it has successfully closed a $9m seed funding round.

This investment was led by Foundation Capital, with additional contributions from notable individual investors such as Basil Alwan, Sri Reddy, and Jonathan Siddharth.

Positioned as a leader in comprehensive AI security, Acuvity aims to use these funds to fast-track the development of its innovative products designed to secure the expanding adoption of AI within enterprises.

The company offers a robust platform that ensures comprehensive security and governance across all AI applications and models used by employees. From language-based access controls to real-time enforcement mechanisms, Acuvity’s solutions are engineered to enhance productivity while mitigating potential risks associated with GenAI technology.

Acuvity intends to utilize the new capital to further enhance its platform capabilities. This will include expanding its range of security products and accelerating the deployment of its governance frameworks. Such advancements are vital for enterprises seeking to leverage AI technologies safely and efficiently.

Adding further detail, Acuvity’s platform incorporates advanced discovery and visualization engines. These tools provide enterprises with crucial insights into GenAI usage and facilitate stringent compliance and cost management.
