Blink Parametric, a provider of innovative real-time insurance solutions, has partnered with Travel Insurance Saver to launch a parametric flight delay solution designed to enhance the customer experience by providing immediate assistance for travel disruptions.
The partnership was formed to address the growing need for real-time, data-driven solutions in a world where travel is becoming increasingly unpredictable.
Blink Parametric’s technology, integrated through Firemelon’s Magenta Insurance System platform, will enable Travel Insurance Saver customers to benefit from fast, automated responses to flight delays.
Blink Parametric, known for its award-winning flight disruption solutions, monitors flight schedules in real-time.
When a delay is detected, policyholders are notified and offered either airport lounge access or an instant payout.
The system’s parametric model uses data to automatically trigger these responses, streamlining the process for customers.
Meanwhile, Travel Insurance Saver offers travel insurance products, and their new Blink-enabled service is designed to provide real-time support during disruptions.
The new solution will be available for free to Travel Insurance Saver’s Gold customers, while Silver and Bronze customers will have the option to purchase the service as an add-on. This ensures that a wider range of customers can access the service, which provides £50 payouts or lounge access for delays of two hours or more.
