Qi Card has announced the launch of its innovative third-generation app, SuperQi, in partnership with Ant International.
According to Zawya, the SuperQi app embodies a leap towards financial inclusivity and digital services within Iraq, powered by the cutting-edge Alipay+ Wallet Tech solutions.
The inception of SuperQi marks a significant evolution in digital banking, by amalgamating Western banking models with the prowess of Asia’s super apps, promising a new era of financial services tailored to Iraq’s unique market needs.
Qi Card’s core business revolves around enhancing financial accessibility and innovation in Iraq. As a distinguished entity in the FinTech space, Qi Card has been pivotal in transitioning Iraq towards digital financial solutions, with a strong focus on inclusivity and ease of access.
SuperQi extends beyond conventional banking applications by incorporating features that cater to a digital lifestyle, making everyday financial operations like payments, money transfers, and shopping seamless and integrated within one platform.
The app supports a vast network of over 20,000 point-of-sale merchants and 10,000 cash-out agents, significantly enhancing the financial infrastructure and user accessibility across Iraq. SuperQi is not only tailored for individual use but also optimises business transactions, fostering a robust digital ecosystem.
Additional features of SuperQi include multilingual support (Arabic, English, and Kurdish), aiming to cater to a diverse demographic. The app’s inclusive design is set to target over 30% of Iraq’s population by 2026, aligning with Qi’s vision of a cashless society.
