Mastercard and Redington join forces on Azerbaijan cybersecurity

Mastercard

Mastercard, the global payments technology company, and Redington, a leading technology distributor with a strong regional presence, have formed a strategic partnership to enhance cybersecurity resilience for businesses in Azerbaijan.

The collaboration is designed to help organisations strengthen their defences against rising cyber threats by merging Mastercard’s global expertise in cyber intelligence with Redington’s extensive local network and market access.

Mastercard, known for its worldwide payment network and expertise in digital security, will introduce three of its flagship cybersecurity products — Cyber Quant, RiskRecon and the Threat Protection Suite — through Redington. These solutions allow companies to assess cyber risks, test preparedness against real-world attack scenarios, and proactively fortify their digital infrastructure. Redington, a major distributor in the technology space, will leverage its network in Azerbaijan to deliver these tools and expand the portfolio further with additional analytical solutions in the near future.

With the integration of Mastercard’s tools into Redington Turkey’s distributorship, Azerbaijani businesses will gain access to crisis simulations based on real-life scenarios. These exercises will help companies measure security maturity, pinpoint vulnerabilities, and prioritise security investments more effectively. Mastercard’s global payment network will also provide Redington’s customers with valuable regional insights, offering them a competitive advantage in managing cyber resilience.

The partnership will evolve over time with the addition of new solutions, expanding the range of offerings available to local organisations. The aim is to support companies not only in securing their digital transformation but also in positioning themselves more competitively within the market.

Redington Turkey general manager Bora Incir said, “This partnership represents a powerful synergy between Mastercard’s cyber intelligence capabilities and Redington’s strong position in the region, business partners ecosystem and financial capacity. Together, we are bringing world-class cybersecurity solutions to support organizations for strengthening of digital security infrastructures through our business partners with Mastercard solutions and we will continue to support them to gain competitive advantage with advanced analytical solutions.”

Mastercard Azerbaijan country manager Emil Zeylanov said, “The ever-increasing data and digital footprint make organizations more open targets against cyber attacks. We support companies to become more resilient against cyber threats by enriching our digital security solutions with our global experience and threat intelligence data through our infrastructure where we conduct security assessments of more than 20 million merchants worldwide. Our strategic cooperation with Redington will help companies in the region gain competitive advantage by securing their digital transformation processes. Together with Redington, we are delighted to usher in a new era in digital security in Azerbaijan with our global experience and innovative technologies.”
