Bitget Wallet, a digital asset wallet and payment card provider, has launched a new rewards scheme that lets cardholders receive up to 3% cashback in Bitcoin, gold, tokenised US stocks, ETFs or USDC.
The new Assetback programme replaces traditional cash rewards with assets that users can select based on their preferences. The scheme is available to eligible Bitget Wallet Card users across the UK, Europe, Asia, Latin America and other supported markets.
Under the programme, cardholders receive a base cashback rate of 2%, while new users and those meeting a monthly spending threshold can unlock a 3% “Booster” rate. The higher rate applies for the month in which the threshold is reached and the following calendar month.
Rewards are calculated and applied automatically, meaning users do not need to open a separate brokerage account or manually invest their cashback. The programme offers seven reward options: Bitcoin, tokenised gold, Nvidia, Tesla, Google, the S&P 500 and USDC. Tokenised stock and ETF exposure is provided through xStocks.
Users can change their selected reward asset once a month through their card settings, although changes only apply to future cashback. USDC rewards are credited directly to the card balance, while other assets are transferred to a Rewards Account once a user has accumulated at least 1 USDC worth of rewards.
Redemptions become available seven days after the qualifying transaction. Rewards remain subject to monthly caps, merchant category exclusions and risk controls, while refunded, reversed or cancelled transactions are excluded from the programme.
The launch adds another layer of investment functionality to Bitget Wallet Card, which allows users to top up with digital assets including USDT and USDC and spend through merchants accepting Visa or Mastercard. The card can also be linked to Apple Pay, Google Pay and other supported payment services.
Bitget Wallet Card is currently available across the UK and EEA, alongside selected markets in Latin America, APAC, South Asia, South Africa and China. The move comes as digital asset-linked card payments continue to grow. Monthly transaction volume across the sector reached $656m in May 2026, more than double the $271m recorded in May 2025, while cumulative volume has surpassed $7.8bn.
Bitget Wallet said its own card spending nearly tripled during the first half of 2026, with usage increasingly resembling traditional consumer payment behaviour. The company is also planning further regional campaigns and a user-generated content campaign following the launch. Details are expected to be announced through its social channels.
